Now that you are appointed as a DPO, are you feeling like Eeyore? Feeling gloomy, just like a dark cloud over your head whereas the rest of your colleagues are not?

The challenge is how to navigate through the extensive resources and sift out the so-called “low-hanging fruits” so that you can kick-start the data protection journey and demonstrate the quick-wins to your bosses.
So what should I do now?
First thing first: sign up for the Fundamentals of PDPA, but make sure that you sign up with one of the PDPC/SSG approved training organisations eg NTUC Learning Hub.
Once you understand the fundamentals of the PDPA, you can start to gather the essential information from the PDPC website and begin your DP journey.
Alternatively, you can attend our “First 100 Days of a Newly Appointed DPO” course where you can learn from our trainer (who was previously from PDPC) how to jumpstart and implementing quick-wins for your organization, and get to find out the answers to any of the questions that might have crossed your mind.
